Meal Sharing: A guide for eating out
Recently I lost a chunk of weight without doing any working out. How did I do it? By cutting back on my food intake.
Portion sizes here in the US are huge, most restaurants will happily serve you portions that could easily serve two people. We are fairly used to these portions and can generally finish them because we are porkers. Your body is full about halfway through, it just doesn't know it yet. I know I eat fast and plenty of others do as well. By the time you have cleared your plate and the foot "kicks in", you are stuffed.
If you are with company, meal sharing is easy to implement. If you are single it works as well, just a little different.
It's as simple as this:
1)Buy a meal when you eat out.
2)Split it with your significant other/ friend.
3)Eat it!
If you are by yourself, have some portion control and eat half of your meal. Save the rest for another meal later!
If you eat like any typical person this will help you lose weight fast. It also has the added benefit of saving you 50% of your money, as you are ordering one meal instead of two. I've been doing with with my GF for quite a while, and I've lost over 10 pounds.
